Gear-bin compatibility is based on the gear outside diameter and multiplier sizes shown in the compatibility chart in the product images.

The dedicated bins are designed to accommodate both direct-fit and push-on versions of the corresponding cineAKS cforce gears.

What is Gridfinity?

Gridfinity is an open-source, modular storage system based around a standardised grid of stackable bins and containers.

The system uses a 42mm x 42mm XY grid, with vertical sizing based on 7mm height units. This allows different bins, trays and cases to be combined into a common modular storage system.

Because the system is open and universal, Gridfinity containers can be mixed and matched rather than being tied to a single manufacturer or storage box.

Stackable, modular and universal

The main advantage of Gridfinity is that individual storage bins do not need to be designed as a complete case.

Bins can be combined into larger Gridfinity layouts, rearranged as your lens package changes, and stacked with compatible Gridfinity storage.

That makes the system particularly useful for camera departments where gear packages change regularly.

Use individual bins for a small kit, combine multiple bins into a larger storage layout, or build a dedicated Gridfinity case around your cforce gear collection.

Designed for cineAKS cforce gears

The dedicated cineAKS bins are sized around the outside diameters of the cforce gear range rather than simply the nominal tooth count.

This means the appropriate storage bin can be selected according to the gear multiplier and physical diameter, including:

• 1x gears
• 1.25x gears
• 1.5x gears
• 2x gears
• 1.5x Extra Offset gears
• 25mm-wide 1x gears

Store gears with the replacement screw installed

The dedicated gear bins are deliberately deep enough to allow cineAKS cforce gears to be stored with the cineAKS replacement mounting screw installed.

This means gears can stay assembled and ready to install rather than requiring the screw to be removed and stored separately.

For camera assistants and operators working through a lens package, this can make gear changes considerably faster and reduces the number of loose small parts in the kit.

Build a complete cforce gear storage system

A Gridfinity-based storage system works particularly well with a comprehensive cforce gear package.
