Current Lead Time

Current lead time for custom and made-to-order items: 2–5 working days before dispatch.

Most items are built or finished to order. cineAKS is a one-person operation run alongside active film work — so while every effort is made to ship promptly, occasional scheduling delays can occur. If you have a tight deadline, please email contact@cineaks.nz before ordering to confirm an estimated delivery date or request a rush order.

International Orders

If the checkout system says shipping is unavailable to your location, please get in touch.
I can often arrange manual shipping options or find a workable solution — just email contact@cineaks.nz with your address and the items you wish to order.

DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) – Important Information

All international orders are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). This means:

  • Your local customs agency may require payment of import duties, VAT/GST, brokerage fees, or other clearance charges before delivery.
  • These fees are not included in your checkout total.
  • You are responsible for completing any required customs processes in your country.

No refunds or returns will be accepted due to unclaimed parcels, unpaid customs charges, refusal to complete DDU/import processing, or parcels returned to sender for these reasons.

You’ll receive a tracking number and dispatch confirmation as soon as your order ships.

United States Customers

Due to U.S. import restrictions, I am currently unable to send shipments valued over USD $800 to non-business (residential) customers.

If your order exceeds this limit, please consider splitting it into multiple smaller orders, or email contact@cineaks.nz and I will help find the best solution.

New Zealand Orders

Dispatch & Tracking

Orders are typically dispatched within 2–5 working days once payment is received (or sooner if stock is ready. Whenever possible I aim to process orders same-day).

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to courier delays or external factors.

Shipping Fees

Free shipping within New Zealand for orders over $180 + GST

Flat rate $10 + GST for orders under $180 + GST

Rural delivery: please allow an additional 1–2 working days

We cannot deliver to PO Boxes

Chatham Islands & Stewart Island

Standard rates do not apply to Chatham Islands or Stewart Island due to high courier fees.

We’re happy to ship there — please contact us for a custom quote prior to checkout.

Delivery Timeframes

We ship using trusted New Zealand courier partners such as NZPost.

Typical delivery times (after dispatch):

North Island: 1–2 working days

South Island: 2–3 working days

Rural addresses: add 1–2 working days

Delivery targets are a guide only. Once your parcel has been handed to the courier, it is outside our control — but tracking will always be provided.
