Individually hand carved wooden camera ball handles with increased grip and a unique tactile finish. Each handle is textured by hand using a chisel, creating a one of a kind surface while maintaining the natural ergonomic feel of the cineAKS Ball Handle range.

note: please pay special attention to which ones come individually and which come in pairs!

Hand carved individually

These hand carved wooden camera ball handles are built on the same design as the cineAKS Ball Handle range, with one key difference: every surface is individually carved by hand.

Each handle is textured using a chisel, with every divot cut manually. This process takes significant additional time and care to keep the carving relatively even while maintaining the organic feel of hand work. The result is a surface that feels distinctly handcrafted and completely unique. No two are exactly the same.

This texture was chosen after testing more than a dozen different patterns. The final design strikes a balance between grip and comfort. The cuts are coarse enough to noticeably improve traction, but remain non abrasive so they are comfortable to hold for long operating days.

The individual carvings are intentionally kept small enough that your fingers cannot index into specific divots. This preserves the core design philosophy of the Ball Handle system. Your hands grab the handle naturally rather than searching for a fixed grip position. The handles work with your hands rather than forcing them into a predetermined shape.

Compared to the standard Ball Handle finish, the carved surface provides significantly increased grip, especially in fast paced operating environments.

Because every handle is carved individually, each piece carries subtle variations in texture and character. These are not mass produced surfaces. They are shaped by hand, one cut at a time.
